| Sugar was turned over to LDEP Jan 2010 when the owners could no longer care for her or her pasture mate. Both horses had their halters growing into their skin. Sugar has been brought to the LDEP HQ's. Hope was turned over to LDEP by a bank, she was used as a lien on a bank loan. The bank called us to take her and try to save her life.
